A generosity that made a principle of never saying "I have none" when asked for something.
When something was asked of him, the Prophet (peace be upon him) never said "I have none." If he had it, he gave it without fail; if not, he sent the person away with kind words, without breaking their hope. This generosity is not only a material virtue; it reflects the worth he saw in the person before him.
