Honoring the Guest

Meeting guests with a smiling face and generosity is one of the beautiful reflections of the sunnah.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was generous to his guests, feeding those who came to him hungry in his own home. He received visiting delegations with a smiling face and kind words. He said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest." Honoring the guest shows the blessing of the home and the breadth of the heart.
